The Denham Springs Fire and Police Departments provided an informational and educational campaign for the new Hotel Occupancy Tax. Using direct mail, YouTube videos and social media, the new tax passed in the City of Denham Springs with 70% Yes and only 30% No.

Vote No Proposition #1
The Citizens for a Better Hammond took a definitive stand to defeat a City Charter Change. Proposition #1 would allow the a majority of the City Council to fire the Police Chief at any meeting. The Proposition was soundly defeated with a vote of 59% No and 41% Yes

Millage Renewal
Serving a five parish district, the millage renewal had to pass by a majority of the vote. The millage passed each parish by a wide margin and ended with 68% of the favorable vote.

Replacement Millage
After losing a millage proposition two years ago, Amite Fire District used the services of the Gagliano Group to help pass a 10 mil replacement millage. With Direct Mail and Voter ID, the millage passed with 67% of the vote.

Hammond Area Recreation District
Millage Renewal
This was the first millage renewal for the Hammond Area Recreation District 1. To help ensure a victory for the renewal, HARD employed the Gagliano Group for a Voter ID Campaign, GOTV Calling Campaign and Friend-to-Friend Text Messaging. The renewal passed with 79% of the vote.

Millage Renewal
A major source of funding for the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is the 10 mil property tax. Using social media, cable television, direct mail and a series of speaking engagements, the TPSO millage renewal passed with 63% of the vote.

Hood Memorial Hospital
Hospital Millage
As a significant source of funding for Hood Memorial Hospital, this millage was a renewal for a portion of the Hospital Service District and a new millage for the remaining district. A Voter Identification and Direct Mail Campaign was directed to voters who supported or were undecided about the renewal. The Renewal passed with 66% of the vote.

Millage Renewal
In a time when neighboring library systems were under attack, the Tangipahoa Parish Library passed their millage renewal with 61% of the vote. This renewal was a result of showcasing the many positive programs at all the library branches.
